Portage Description:
I have reservations regarding this particular trail. This trail is one I would take only if I absolutely had to. It goes up-and-over two sets of hills, with a change in elevation of over 100 ft (34 m) ! While McNiece and Sean Walsh lakes are very picturesque, I would advise planning a different itinerary where there were other options than this trail. This trail is also quite brushy. You'll have a ggod chance of encountering Moose on this trail. I had the good fortune to encouter a grouse while here. It charged at me, and then I took a few pictures. The only redeeming qualities of this trail are the landings at the ends, where one can finally set the gear down and get on the water.
Lake after portage: Kahshahpiwi

Lake Description:
Many high cliffs, great campsites, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, clear water (relatively speaking, of course), pictographs, and good fishing if you're patient.
