Portage Description:
The portage begins in the back of a bay and may take a bit of searching as you need to be very close to spot it. The portage itself was a test. I pretty descent climb up and over, only to be faced with a sheer drop at a 45 degree (or more) down angle for the last 20+ yards over rock face. (Here you may want to lower your canoe by hand, which we did because of wet conditions and slippery rock face.)
Lake after portage: Keats

Lake Description:
Beautiful lake with falls and narrow channels that give you both the majestic and intimate. A very nice blend in one lake.
