Portage Description:
The path sets out from Moon at a fairly steep incline with some rocky footing. The footing itself gets better right away, but continues steeply to a set of stairs that negotiates the steepest part. The stairs are solid and easy to get over. After this, the path levels out and then has a slight decline to the East Bearskin landing. The landing on the E. Bearskin side is nice.

Lake Description:
Relatively deep clear lake. There is an eagle nest near the campsite to the west of the portage path.
