Portage Description:
Portage is relatively flat - gains 11' feet overall. The access can be difficult to find on Ima and is quite rocky, but the trail is easy.

Lake Description:
Semi clear lake. We based camped on the north end and were visited daily by "tourist" The south end of Hatchet is quite busy with passer throughs... Good Walleye fishing, and some average size Northerns. Big beaver and many of them populate this lake
