Portage Description:
On both sides this portage is extremely steep. Portage difficult to find from Wink Lake. Some downed trees from storms of 1999.

(This is a tough portage. Also, just getting to Wink Lake is a difficult task. This is not a trip for beginners.)

Very large with plenty of campsites. Good fishing. A very popular destination for a base camp trip.
