Portage Description:
This portage isn't terribly long, but it's steep and quite rocky. There's a steady climb from Mudro to a ridge and then back down to Sandpit. The downhill side of the ridge is rockier and very slippery when wet.
Lake after portage: Sandpit
Known campsites: 1
Lake Description:
Sandpit lake is a typical elongated glacial lake with some nice shallow bays and a couple of deeper holes. Caught smallies in the bays and on the drop-offs and pike in the submerged wood at the south end.
