Portage Description:
Easy to find. You'll be tempted to try to paddle up McAlpine Creek, but don't as about 50 meters in there is an un-passable dam. Portage follows left side of creek and has lots of places where you are walking on the side of a steep incline going up to the left. Footing can be very tricky.
