Portage Description:
The path starts out low, watch carefully so you don't miss it in the low areas, it's easy to get off the trail. There is a canoe rest about halfway at the high point of the trail - Use it. The trail is clear of large boulders and rocks, but soft in places. The put-in at the Kawishiwi River is rocky and shallow - get wet.
