Portage Description:
The portage was very wet August/01. Running water/mud bogs 2/3 of the way requiring some tricky footwork. A wolf pack frequents the vicinity--heard howls, saw fresh tracks intermixed w/deer, also scat. Campsite on river directly across/downstream from EP #29.

Lake Description:
Many campsites on the North Kawishiwi in the vicinity, also pretty good fishing around rapids--a pretty stretch of river.
