Portage Description:
A hard but not impossible portage with a strong crew. It starts off with a long section through swamps, but there are logs lined up to walk over. Then there is a steep section 20 or so rods long. The portage ends with about 150 rods of flat terrain through the trees. There is a 5 foot rock cliff at about a 60 degree angle that you will have to navigate, but a good portager should be fine. I am afraid though that the recent blowdowns in the park may have caused this portage to be much harder now than it was before.
