Portage Description:
Mostly flat/gentle, traverses plank bridge for 20 rods or so. Portage crosses a small segment of private land, and has large signs explaining this. The portage rolls thru two small hills and a swampy area in the middle. Fairly obvious drop points every 40 rods. In spite of the length, this portage rates easy.

Lake Description:
Crab/Cummings are pretty lakes, yielding good sized Northerns and lots of smallmouth. Loons nest on small rock island in south part of Cummings - please don't disturb them.
