Portage Description:
Known to me as the baby grand, it is situated between three lakes and is part of the border route. It is shorter to go to Daniels Lake which a righthand turn at the spur. This trail up until this point used to follow an old railway bed so it is very flat and easy. If one continues on left at the spur and goes to Rove Lake, the portage gets a little hilly but remains fairly simple.

Lake after portage: Rove
Known campsites: not sure
Lake Description:

Rove Lake is shallow and plain, but when one rounds the corner and goes through the small channel to watap lake, the most amazing view of the Watap Bluff come into view. It is huge and red and picture worthy.
