Portage Description:
I never found this portage. Dragged the canoe waist deep in foul-odored swamp muck and over a little dammed section. Not altogether unpleasant but I could have done without the leaches.

Banadad was a treat, with the solitude and wildlife. Good swimming, too, at least at the western campsite, on the island.
