Ahhh... It's late winter, when an old man's fancy turns from thoughts of the sofa and football; to thoughts of Quetico and fishing. :-)

I'd like to survey the fisherman who read this.
1 - Is your fishing rod fiberglass, or one of the more expensive graphite composits? Any comments?

2 - Have you ever tried the no stretch braided lines that are super expensive? Berkley Fire Line and others. Any comments?

And by the way, what's a zara spook??? Sounds like a fun activity while waiting for the northern lights to dance.
