Portage Description:
Before you get to the portage you have one beaver dam to pull over. You can't miss this portage the creek dead ends into a nice grassy landing. It starts out on a nice but little overgrown path until you cross back over the creek on a bridge of rotting logs. This is when it can get confusing. The portage looks to take a sharp right and head up a hill. That is not the portage but the Pow-Wow trail. Directly in front of you will be a solid wall of brush. If you look close you will see the worn down path under the brush. The rocky trail continues for another 20 rods or so before you get to the rocky put-in at South Wilder.

Lake after portage: South Wilder
Known campsites: 2
Lake Description:

At the end of the portage you will see a single old log and rock pile that is the remains of an old bridge or maybe a dock? You will then have to pull up a beaver dam before you get to the main part of the lake. This lake is another very cool remote lake and is on the list of areas to visit again.
