The 220 rod from McAree into Wicksteed may not be the DEATH MARCH PORTAGE your interested in, but it's got to be a close runner up. The last 100 yds is down a steep bank/cliff and thats on tired legs.
My group did this 4 years ago (Packed Heavy of course)and we'll never forget it. The three of us made 3 trips to haul all the gear. We were packed for 4 and one guy canceled out the night before. Other than this portage it was one of the most memorable trips we've made.
I know this isn't the info you were looking for but the portage name was appropriate
