Portage Description:
The climb out of Cherokee was absolutely brutal. Long, steep and rocky. The middle part has lots of wet sections to walk through. You finish with another steep grade down to the lake.

Lake after portage: Sitka
Known campsites: None at all
Lake Description:

Sitka is very small. Head toward the two small islands (rocks) to find the next portage. Don't be fooled by thinking you see it more to the south where beaver have built some dams. The lake is very small.
