Portage Description:
I won't rate it never again, because I would, not anytime soon, but I would do it again. If there was any portage to be called a hill climber this is it. The portage from Cherokee is easy enough to find, I'm just not sure you want to. Stretch your thighs before this portage. It is nasty. It doesn't help to know that you are crossing the Laurentian divide. My wife and I single portage each trail, this one doubted my sanity. Single or double portage, to and from, this one I will never forget.

Lake after portage: Sitka
Known campsites: None at all
Lake Description:

Sitka is a tiny little lake that looks to be good fishin, it's not. What it is, is a great resting lake.
