Portage Description:
Pooh-Bah creek portages are a minor pain. Challenging navigation (finding the entrance to Pooh-Bah creek amidst the reeds can be confusing), and shallow water (in late June) requiring wading/pulling the canoe. The portages themselves aren't bad, but there are several. All told, makes for a time-consuming stretch. But Pooh-Bah is well-worth the reward.

Lake Description:

Pooh-Bah is a great big island-studded lake. Great fishing for walleye and northern especially (fish the islands). Plenty of solitude as it's off the beaten path.
