Portage Description:
This was a long, wet carry, with a little of everything mixed in. 90+ Fahrenheit did not help. Southbound, the trail starts from a southern bay of Cache Lk. and quickly turns to muck. Highlights include a good size marsh, a very low section known as the 'African Queen' section(good luck), very big, old white pines, and long stretches of overgrown trail that you need to keep an eye on. Took our group 4 hours southbound, and 3.5 northbound, double portaging.
