Portage Description:
Hardest part was locating it. There is a large area of lilly pads and difficult paddling/poling. The "trail" is the creek itself. Pull up the crick as far as possible, veering left after a narrow & shallow slot (the beavers keep trying to close it). Several deep mucky spots, lift-overs, and lots of leeches. Near the end you can choose either the rocky stream bed or the muddy bank. Tough either way. Appears seldom travelled.

Lake after portage: Boulder
Known campsites: 3
Lake Description:

Boulder lake is clear, clean. The camp site on the island is excellent with good shelter from wind, but sunning rocks both east and west. Lots of good wind-fall wood.
