Portage Description:
I only rate it difficult owing to the following factors.

1) The low water was responsible for making into four portages rather than the customary two, and it lengthened them also.

2) Locating it is difficult, aim for the beaver lodge and pass it to the left, you'll shortly reach the dam and the first portage.

3) We were wet from a sudden rain squall and fatigued as we had started that morning from Kawishiwi Lake.

4) The low water and mucky conditions made poling the canoe to the dam very tiresome, and there was no other option. The whole thing wasn't too difficult, just a huge time waster.

Lake after portage: Boulder
Known campsites: 3
Lake Description:

Boulder's worth it. Two fine campsites(island and north shore), few people, nice size, average clarity with little staining. Nice trees with some blowdown on the island. Norton and Waldo said to be present.
