Portage Description:
This portage has a nice landing under some white cedars which is easily spotted from the water. The trail is a short uphill jaunt to a beaver dam and is in good condition.

Lake after portage: Agawato
Known campsites: None at all
Lake Description:

Thanks to the beaver dam at the portage landing, the level of the lake has been increased by a few feet, flooding a number of trees. This has created an area that looks like good fishing for northern or largemouth. The lake is beautiful with it's steep shoreline, but most canoeists probably pass on by.
