Portage Description:
Coming into the portage is a little rock garden which is not a problem if prior portagers TAKE THEIR BOATS OUT OF THE WATER! If this courtesy is not observed (as happened to us in July) you need to go far left or climb out and wade to get in. As crowded as this route gets, we all must pay attention to the needs of others.
