Portage Description:
Fairly steep climb up the first 25 rods then downhill for the remaining 42 rods. Portage is comparatively easy despite the climb. Taking this portage avoids the rocky portion of the Boulder River, which is scenic but somewhat difficult to navigate. This route into Agnes also avoids the extremely soft bog (my 12-year-old son sank up to his waist and had to be pulled out when he stepped off the log) at the landing at the 112 rod portage into Agnes.

Lake after portage: Boulder River
Known campsites: None at all
Lake Description:

A short paddle over a wide section of the Boulder River with marsh to the immediate north.
