Portage Description:
This portage is basically only a lift-over. A little rocky, but at only a couple of rods, who cares?

Lake after portage: Saganaga
Known campsites: 8+
Lake Description:

Saganaga is a large and diverse lake. The western portion near Swamp is like paddling through a series of small lakes. There are multiple camp sites, many of which look nice (from the lake anyway). The large portion of Saganaga can be killer during a brisk wind. Waves can get pretty high, and travel is hair-raising. The ranger in Cache bay says people regularly 'dump' in Saganaga, trying to get to Cache bay. Winds are generally worst in the afternoon, so try to paddle early or late evening.
