Portage Description:
We hit this portage on a cold rainy day, which may be why the hummocky, tussocky swamp in the middle seemed so annoying. The long but high and dry Pickerel River portage seemed a treat after this. There's not much climbing here, but slipping, tripping, and swearing may be expected. Knee-high boots would not have helped. I've never seen so much standing water in a portage.

Lake after portage: Olifaunt
Known campsites: 6
Lake Description:

Olifaunt is well described in the other post here.
