Portage Description:
IMPORTANT! There are TWO portages! Most know the "hill" portage that has a poor exit from Sarah and then up a steep hill to McIntrye. However there is a better portage on the south side of the bay just 100 feet away. When you enter the bay stay to the south shore and look for the blaze mark. The portage goes in 4 rods then heads west up a great but un-used trail. An easy walk!
