Portage Description:
This is not the 100 rod portage shown on some maps that enters Ram at it's southeast corner, but the short portage around a small rapid/falls that drains Ram into Sturgeon in Ram's northeast corner. A nice winding stream with 3 beaver dam pullovers leads in from Sturgeon. A pretty area and an easy portage.

Lake Description:
Ram in mid May was good for Laker trolling. That's all we fished for and we had plenty of dinner. I've heard there's a campsite right by a bear den, but didn't look for it.
