Portage Description:
Parts of this portage are very rocky and narrow and get VERY slick in wet weather. I've been on it 6 times and have fallen in the mud twice. The landing at the end of the portage is shallow, swampy and smelly.

Lake Description:
Slim Lake is beautiful. We usually see eagles and ospreys every time we visit. There are areas of high cliffs and a great campsite high on a rock.
