Portage Description:
This is by far the toughest portage I've been on. Not only is it on of the longest but it isn't traveled as much and therefor not as well kept up. At one point there was a 5 foot cliff with no easy way up or down. Make sure to do this one with people you can trust not to whine to much. In the end it is all worth it as Jap is one of the neatest lakes in the BWCA.

Lake after portage: Jap
Known campsites: not sure
Lake Description:

Very deep with rock shores. Take some time to trout fish, you won't be disappointed.
