Portage Description:
Snow is a shallow lake that is pleasant to stroke through & - if you're really tired & have to camp- there are 2 along opposite shorelines of the eastern section & one on the tip of the southernmost protrusion of land from the North shoreline. The portage from Snow begins in it's western most cove. There are 2 grades to negotiate but it's the slippery rocks & the fiercest mosquitoes of any portage in the Park in my 25 yrs. of paddling there that make it
