Lake Description:

Kahshahpiwi is one of the most attractive lake in the Quetico. High cliffs line both sides of this long narrow lake. Very deep and is colder water than most, (warms up slower) thus making it easier to catch Lake Trout later than other lakes. Excellent campsite with protected lagoon on an island opposite an abandoned Ranger cabin, at the entrance to the bay that leads to the infamous Yum Yum portage from Kahshahpiwi to Yum Yum lake.

Portage from Kahshahpiwi into:
Trant
Unnamed* *south of Kahshahpiwi
Yum Yum
Unnamed* *between Kahshahpiwi and Joyce
