Portage Description:
Hopefully you are doing this as a day trip to get up to see Sue falls and you aren't carrying all your stuff with you.

Up, then up some more, then up a little bit more. Then down. Guess what? Down is worse. Thread the needle through trees. Don't get stuck.

Lake Description:

Cirrus. Another one of those narrow, northern lakes which runs west-east. They all look the same.

If you continue to Sue Falls, leave the canoes. Good lord, that isn't really a portage, is it?
