Portage Description:
Horse Portage is wide, flat, and well-traveled. When going downstream always take the left forks. The right forks will take you down to the water. People have tried to canoe down the river. Some are successful. Some destroy their canoes, and some drown every year. There is a reason why that trail is there, so take it.
