Portage Description:
Portage starts just of forestry rd. 315 With long mud hole 50 ft. Through elder swamp. Trial workers have since laid boards down for easy walking . During the spring of 1993 their was no boards and in found mud up to my waist . The rest of portage is long, straight, mostly dry, and slightly up hill. Then down to Morgan lake. Just a nice mile long portage through the woods.

Morgan lake is about 1 mile long and narrow with clear water it used to be stocked with Splake but now has mostly Northern and Perch
