Portage Description:
Easy going in and straight down, less so coming back out... Rock outcrop can be a little slickery - worth some caution especially when tired at the end of a trip and headed back down for that last bit of double-portage gear.

Lake Description:

a few miles of easy paddling in open water bordered by wild rice - likely you'll see a few geese, ducks and even a shorebird or two.
