Portage Description:
Poor advance planning left only the Angleworm entry open to us, so we were prepared for a long, difficult portage. It was! However, it was through nice forest, that was a plus. We packed light, but met a group of young people with a cooler with canned beverages and frozen chicken! Pack conservatively, pace yourself and just take one step after the other. . .

Lake after portage: Angleworm
Known campsites: not sure
Lake Description:

Beymer advises to go no further than Angleworm because of the portage. That's good advice if there is an open campsite, which there was not. Assumed all these folks came from the OTHER direction, not the portage. In and out of Home Lake and a site finally found on Gull.
