Portage Description:
This portage was very difficult to find, as there is no typical starting point on dry land. We had to pull our way in waist deep mud for several hundred yards before getting to dry land. Once there, the trail was used so little it was difficult to tell we were on a portage. After 150 Rods or so, we encountered a very steep rock face that we needed to climb. We laughed so hard due to the situation and frustration that it was a huge stress reliever. Anyway, There has to be an easier way to Bentpine from the northeast, I'm just not sure what it is... Good luck if your going.....
