Portage Description:
Watch the river rapids just before the landing, I tried to paddle up once and didn't make it, so we always line or push the boat up this spot now. Sometimes there can be several other groups here at once, so be cautious where you lay your gear. Smallies can be found in the river below the dam.

Lake Description:
Quetico lake is an awesome lake, most anything you are looking for in a trip can be found some place on this lake. Watch the wind direction on some of the larger areas and stay close to shore on rough days.
