I am enjoying the beauty and serenity of your web page. I hope to one day enjoy my first 'trip of a lifetime' to the BWCA and Quetico. Thanks for sharing your experiences until then.

The BWCAW and the Quetico will live in my heart forever. I have many good memories about my trips there with good friends and family. I only hope we all take good care of this precious resource so our children and their children can also experience what we have.

We started going to the BWCA in 1971 with our children. They have since grown up loving nature and canoeing and Mark now takes the Boy Scout Troop 47 members to help instill the sense of peace and solitude we have grown to love and appreciate from our experiences there. I can no longer go but truly miss the beauty of this magnificant area and the wonderful sounds of the loons. This page has brought back alot of memories.

Nice site. I can now canoe year-round. There are many compromises to be made in a marriage.....but the annual Quetico Trip is not one of them. Few experiences can equal the bond that develops between voyageur's on a 10 day trip. Keep the wind to your back!

My dad took me to the BWCA many years ago. The last 2 years I have taken my 2 kids and my dad here. What a great getaway. So peaceful, so awesome. I can't wait till August when we are going again. Give the gift of the boundary waters to a kid. It will give him a lifetime of enjoyment.

In 1969 I took my first trip into Quetico. In the first 30 minutes of fishing I witnessed catching a 20# and a 12# northern. I was hooked and have been going back every year since. Different spots, new stories each year and not a bad trip,Ever. The vast wilderness and beauty of countless lakes restores my spirit and I look forward to a new adventure every year. Quetico is a most wonderful place.

Being Texans now for 4 years, my son and I miss the BWCA more than anything else we can think of. Your pictures brought a small tear to my eye. Thank You.

I started going in 1997 and it was great every year, even the year it rained 6 out of 8 days. I will go every year for as long as I possibly can.
