This year will be my 11th trip to Quetico. I guess one could say I've been bitten by the up north bug. I am interested in a trip west of Sturegon Lake on the Maligne River. If anyone has paddled these waters I would be interested in hearing about your experiences.

This was a truly elegant way to travel--and still have the comforts of home. Thank you so very much for sharing a lovely piece of the planet Earth with others.

Dave: You've created a wonderful web site, and one that effectively relays a true sense of "being there" to us "virtual visitors." Your Forum is great, as are it's participants. Your virtual trip(s) and the virtual panoramas are wonderful. The more I explore your web site, the more terrific things I find. I hope you can find the time to add more. I've visited many of the natural wonders on our continent, but the Quetico always calls me back. The Benevolent Spirit truly dwells there. ...Tom

You have a great site! I'm making my 6th trip up there in August 2000 this time to the Man Lake Area. Just reading the noteboard and camp stories gets me pumped up for another 2 day drive (one way). It's always a new adventure.

My buddy Don got me involved with the BWCA and we went yearly for 10 years or so, I'd go a couple times a year if I was still single. It is one of the greatest places on earth.

Deb's and I are arriving in the summer of 2000. We are both avid Walleye anglers. We love photograhy, wildlife, campfires and the Northern Lights. The men in our lives get to go hunting twice a year, so we have decided to do this one on our own. We've both been camping in the rough outdoors for over 20 yrs. each. I hope we are prepared for this quest of a lifetime. Jan
