This
page rocks! I've learned so much paddling around on it. I find it
more informative than canoecountry.com because I don't go through
an outfitter. I absolutly love the BWCA and I hope I can keep going
forever... Thanks all! |

Please,
do not "wait for the right time", "when the kids are older", or
"when we have more money!" My first trip to BWCAW was one of the
most important choices of my life. I was born before 1950. I have
hunted, fished, camped, and canoed for my entire life. I have one four
generation picture in my posession. It was taken in BWCA with my
dad, son, and grandfather. It was the first, last, and only trip north
that the four of us ever took. I've always figured, that if we were
to only get one trip, by the grace of God, we picked the right place.
My son was "too young" and my grandfather "too old", but every year
on our way to BWCAW, my son thanks me for the experience. Don't
hesitate! The Boundary Waters will change the way you look at life.
It is a very,very good change. |

You
have built an extremely resourceful site. Kudos to you! I've enjoyed
Quetico for several years now and plan to return until I can't do
it any more. Easily the most beautiful place on Earth. |
